Wausau 11, La Crosse 10

The Wausau Ignite rallied late to outlast the La Crosse Steam 11-10. Mia Johnson (University of Wisconsin-Parkside) was an RBI machine, going 3-for-5 with a two-run double, recording four RBIs and two runs scored. Quinn Marnocha (South Dakota State University) went 3-for-5, tallying a triple, driving in one run, and scoring twice. Megan McGinnis (Saint Mary’s University (MN)) went 1-for-4 with an RBI double and scored twice. Avary Makarewicz (University of Tennessee at Martin) went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run. Jackie Larsen (Bemidji State University) went 3-for-5 with a double, driving in two runs, scoring twice, and stealing one base. Maren Sauvageau (North Iowa Area CC) earned the win, throwing three innings with two strikeouts, allowing two hits, one run, and one walk. 

Madison 10, Minot 9

The Madison Night Mares surged ahead with a seven-run sixth inning to edge out the Minot Honeybees 10-9. Ella Stephenson was perfect at the plate, going 3-for-3 with a three-run home run, recording four RBIs, and scoring one run. Addison Blomberg went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run. Danielle Lucey went 2-for-3 with a double, scoring twice, and driving in one run. Taylor Baker earned the win, throwing seven innings with three strikeouts, allowing seven hits, seven walks, and six earned runs.
