The Madison Night Mares dominated from start to finish, overwhelming the Minot Honeybees 15-4. Ella Stephenson (University of Michigan) was an RBI machine, going 4-for-5 with a solo home run and an RBI double, tallying six RBIs, three runs scored, and one stolen base. Emma Kavanagh (University of Arizona) went 4-for-5 with a three-run home run, recording five RBIs, three runs scored, and two stolen bases. Danielle Lucey (University of Wisconsin) went 3-for-5 with a pair of doubles, scoring three times, driving in one run, and stealing one base. Virginia Mambelli (Florida SouthWestern State CC) went 1-for-3 with two RBIs. Karlie McKenzie (Eastern Illinois University) earned the win, throwing six innings with seven strikeouts, allowing six hits, four runs, and one walk.
