The Wausau Ignite rallied late, plating three runs in the seventh to defeat the La Crosse Steam 5-4. Megan McGinnis (Saint Mary’s University (MN)) had a day at the plate going 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles, driving in three runs, and scoring twice. Quinn Marnocha (South Dakota State University) went 1-for-4 with an RBI double. Mia Johnson (University of Wisconsin-Parkside) went 2-for-4, driving in the go-ahead run in the seventh. Syler Dietz (Fort Lewis College) went 3-for-3 with a two-run home run and a double, recording two RBIs and one run scored. Jackie Larsen (Bemidji State University) went 1-for-3, scoring once with two stolen bases. Maya Rudy (Benedictine University) earned the win by throwing two scoreless no-hit innings, allowing one walk.
