The La Crosse Steam came back and defeated the Madison Night Mares 9-7. Avary Makarewicz (University of Tennessee at Martin) had a day at the plate, going 3-for-4 with a two-run home run, tallying two RBIs and one run scored. Grace Frechette (St. Cloud State University) went 2-for-3 with a double, scoring twice, and driving in one run. Jackie Larsen (Bemidji State University) went 1-for-3, scoring twice with one RBI. Gretta Grassel (Mississippi State University) went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run. Emma Kavanagh (University of Arizona) went 2-for-4 with a double, scoring once, and driving in two runs. Kylie Stark (Bryant and Stratton (WI) CC) earned the win, throwing 3.1 scoreless innings, allowing two hits and one walk.
