Madison 6, Wausau 0

The Madison Night Mares secured a 6-0 shutout win over the Wausau Ignite. Ella Stephenson (University of Michigan) had a day at the plate, going 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a two-run double. Ava Carroll (University of Washington) went 2-for-3, scoring once with two RBIs and one stolen base. Hilary Blomberg (University of Wisconsin) went 1-for-4 with a double, recording one RBI and one stolen base. Andrea Jaskowiak (Colorado State University) earned the win, throwing seven scoreless innings with three strikeouts, allowing seven hits and one walk. 

La Crosse 6, Mankato 4

The La Crosse Steam rallied late with a four-run seventh inning to defeat the Mankato Habaneros 6-4. Grace Frechette (St. Cloud State University) came in clutch, going 2-for-4 with a go-ahead three-run home run, tallying four RBIs and one run scored. Jackie Larsen (Bemidji State University) went 1-for-3 with a double, recording one RBI and one run scored. Abbie Stigler (Saint Mary’s University) went 1-for-3, scoring twice with one RBI. Emma Lee (Trine University) went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run. Elly Eckrich (University of Tennessee-Martin) earned the win, throwing seven innings with three strikeouts, allowing four hits, two earned runs, and two walks.
