Minot 5, Wausau 2

The Minot Honeybees held off the Wausau Ignite to secure a 5-2 victory. Makenna Alexander (University of North Dakota) had a day at the plate going 2-for-3 with a two-run home run and an RBI double, tallying three RBIs and two runs scored. Sydney Farmer (Morehead State University) went 1-for-4 with one RBI and one stolen base. Carly Cummings (San Jose State University) went 1-for-3 with one RBI and one stolen base. Ashleigh Heiderscheit (San Jacinto North CC) earned the win, throwing 4.2 innings with three strikeouts, allowing five walks, three hits, and two runs. Jakie Albrecht (University of North Dakota) got the save, throwing 2.1 scoreless no-hit innings with two strikeouts and two walks.

Madison 7, Mankato 2

The Madison Night Mares exploded for seven runs in the first inning and never looked back, defeating the Mankato Habaneros 7-2. Kendall Weik (Morgan State) went 1-for-2, scoring once with two RBIs. Danielle Lucey (University of Wisconsin) went 1-for-3, scoring once with two RBIs. Ava Carroll (University of Washington) went 1-for-2, scoring once with one RBI. Alexis Michon (Trine University) went 1-for-2 with a solo home run. Paytn Monticelli (University of Oklahoma) earned the win, throwing five innings with four strikeouts, allowing six walks, three hits, and two runs.
