Mankato 10, Wausau 5

The Mankato Habaneros erupted for 10 runs across the third and fourth innings to defeat the Wausau Ignite 10-5. Indigo Fish (Winona State University) went 1-for-3 with three RBIs. Brylee Hempey (University of South Dakota) went 2-for-4, scoring twice with two RBIs and one stolen base. Mia Johnson (University of Wisconsin-Parkside) went 1-for-3 with a grand slam. Maddie Wihlm (North Dakota State University) earned the win, throwing 4.2 innings with two strikeouts, allowing five runs, five walks, and four hits. Alexis Michon (Trine University) shut the door, throwing 2.1 scoreless innings, striking out four of eight batters faced, allowing one hit.

The Mankato Habaneros held off a late push from the Wausau Ignite to secure a 5-3 victory. Skylinn Pogue (University of Pittsburgh) went 1-for-3 with three RBIs. Indigo Fish (Winona State University) went 1-for-2, scoring twice with one RBI. Brylee Hempey (University of South Dakota) went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases. Riley Schwisow (Northwestern State University) went 1-for-3 with two RBIs. Mia Johnson (University of Wisconsin-Parkside) went 1-for-4 with a triple, recording one RBI. Ava Kleinfeldt (University of St. Thomas (MN)) earned the win throwing seven innings with six strikeouts allowing six hits, six hits, and three runs.
