The Kenosha Kingfish pulled off a thrilling comeback, scoring eight runs in the final three innings to defeat the Battle Creek Battle Jacks 9-8 in extra innings. Robert Newland (Kalamazoo College) had a day at the plate going 4-for-5 with a pair of doubles and a grand slam, recording four RBIs and three runs scored. Jack Zebig (University of Illinois) went 2-for-5 with a double, tallying two RBIs and one run scored. Dominic Kibler (University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee) went 1-for-4, scoring once with one RBI and one stolen base.
