Madison 6, La Crosse 3

The Madison Nightmares rallied late to overcome the La Crosse Steam 6-3. Gretta Grassel (Mississippi State University) went 2-for-4 with a double, driving in two runs. Luciana Moreno (University of Pittsburgh) went 3-for-4, scoring once with two RBIs. Hilary Blomberg (University of Wisconsin) went 1-for-3 with a double, recording one RBI and two runs scored. Avary Makarewicz (University of Tennessee at Martin) went 1-for-1 with a two-run home run. Paytn Monticelli (University of Oklahoma) earned the win, throwing seven innings with ten strikeouts, allowing eight walks, three runs, and three hits. 

Minot 7, Mankato 2

The Minot Honeybees took control with a three-run fourth inning and never looked back, defeating the Mankato Habaneros 7-2. Emma Vike (South Dakota State University) went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run. Bella Cimino (University of North Florida) went 2-for-4 with a triple, recording one RBI and two runs scored. Carly Cummings (San Jose State University) went 1-for-3 with one RBI and one stolen base. Julianna Verni (Syracuse University) earned the win throwing seven innings with four strikeouts allowing three hits, two walks, and one earned run.
