Nathan Ball (Central Michigan University) went 2-for-5 with two RBIs and one stolen base. Gianni Royer (Holy Cross) went 2-for-4 with a double, driving in two runs and scoring one run. Robert Newland (Kalamazoo College) went 3-for-3 with a double, scoring once and stealing one base. Brett Seils (Towson University) earned the win, throwing six innings with one strikeout, allowing seven hits, two runs, and two walks.

The Royal Oak Leprechauns held off a mid-game rally from the Kalamazoo Growlers to secure a 7-5 victory. The Waterloo Bucks erupted early and never looked back in a dominant 21-8 win over the Eau Claire Express.
