The Madison Night Mares used back-to-back two-run innings in the fifth and sixth to erase a deficit and defeat the Mankato Habaneros 4-3, in game one. Kendall Weik (NC State) earned the win, throwing seven innings with three strikeouts, allowing six hits, six walks, and one earned run. Weik was named the Northwoods League Pitcher of the Night.
