Minot 6, Wausau 1

The Minot Honeybees jumped out to an early lead to beat the Wausau Ignite 6-1. Carly Cummings (San Jose State University) went 1-for-2, scoring once with one RBI and one stolen base. Taylor Chillingworth (San Jose State University) went 1-for-4 with one RBI and one stolen base. Trinity Gregg (University of Jamestown) went 1-for-2, scoring twice with one RBI. Jackie Albrecht (University of North Dakota) dominated in the circle, throwing seven innings, recording ten strikeouts, allowing seven walks, and zero hits or earned runs. 

Madison 9, Mankato 0

The Madison Night Mares dominated with a 9-0 win over the Mankato Habaneros. Hilary Blomberg (University of Wisconsin) went 2-for-4 with a double, recording two RBIs and two runs scored. Emma Kavanagh (University of Arizona) went 3-for-4 with a double, tallying one RBI and one run scored. Gretta Grassel (Mississippi State University) went 2-for-3 with a double, driving in one run and scoring once. Ava Clark (University of Washington) went 1-for-2 scoring once with one RBI and two stolen bases. Tia Durst (University of Washington) went 2-for-4 with a double, recording two runs and one RBI. Karlie McKenzie (Eastern Illinois University) earned the win throwing seven scoreless innings with three strikeouts allowing six hits and three walks.
