La Crosse 3, Madison 2
The La Crosse Steam rallied late to tie the game and earned a 3-2 walk-off win over the Madison Night Mares. Kendra Lewis (University of Wisconsin) came in clutch, going 2-for-3 with a walk-off double and a two-run home run, tallying all of the runs for the Steam. Rachel Mori (UNC-Pembroke) went 2-for-3 and scored once. Hilary Blomberg (University of Wisconsin) was perfect at the plate, going 3-for-3 with a solo home run and a double. Mackenzie Willis (Belmont University) earned the win, throwing seven innings with seven strikeouts, allowing five hits, three walks, and one earned run.
Minot 13, Wausau 7
The Minot Honeybees used a huge second inning and steady offense throughout to defeat the Wausau Ignite 13-7. Virginia Mambelli (University of South Alabama) was perfect at the plate going 4-for-4 with a hat trick of doubles, driving in four runs and scoring four times. Bella Cimino (University of North Florida) went 2-for-5 with a double, recording four RBIs. Shayna Myshrall (Niagara University) went 2-for-2 with a pair of doubles, tallying two RBIs and one run scored. Trinity Greggg (University of Jamestown) went 2-for-4 with a pair of triples, scoring three times and driving in one run. Carly Cummings (San Jose State University) went 1-for-5 with a triple, recording two RBIs and two runs scored. Mia Johnson (University of Wisconsin-Parkside) went 1-for-3 with a double and two RBIs. Ashleigh Heiderscheit (San Jacinto North CC) earned the win throwing 4.1 innings allowing eight hits, five earned runs, and four walks.
