The Madison Night Mares held off a late rally from the Minot Honeybees to secure an 8-7 win. Hilary Blomberg (University of Wisconsin) went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and one stolen base. Tia Durst (University of Washington) went 2-for-5 with a double, recording one run scored and one stolen base. Addison Blomberg (University of Wisconsin) went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and one stolen base. Taylor Chillingworth (San Jose State University) went 2-for-3 with a three-run home run, recording four RBIs. Chloe Cummings (Siena College) went 3-for-3, scoring twice. Paytn Monticelli (LSU) earned the win, throwing 2.2 scoreless innings with three strikeouts, allowing one hit.
La Crosse 6, Mankato 5
The La Crosse Steam used a steady offensive effort to edge out the Mankato Habaneros 6-5. Kendra Lewis (University of Wisconsin) had a day at the plate going 1-for-2 scoring twice with three RBIs. Jackie Larsen (Bemidji State University) went 1-for-4 with a double and one RBI. Calli Janik (Mount Mercy University) went 2-for-3 scoring once. Sailor Hall (Pittsburg State University) went 2-for-4 scoring once. Kendra Lewis (University of Wisconsin) earned the win throwing four innings allowing three walks, three earned runs, and three hits.
