Battle Creek 8, Rockford 6
The Battle Creek Battle Jacks exploded for seven runs in the fourth inning and held off a late Rockford rally to win 8-6. Nathan Ball (Central Michigan University) went 2-for-4 with a double, driving in three runs and scoring once. Hunter Smolinski (Grand Canyon University) went 2-for-5 with a double, recording one RBI, two runs scored, and one stolen base.
