The Green Bay Rockers rallied late to take down the Wausau Woodchucks 6-4 and are headed to the Great Lakes Championship. Eric Jeon (Stanford University) went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and a double, scoring twice. Xaige Lancaster (University of Hawaii) went 1-for-4 with a solo home run. Jeremy Delamota (Fairleigh Dickinson University) went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and scored twice. Max Soliz (University of Kansas) went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and scored twice. KJ Ward (Park University-Gilbert) earned the win, throwing two scoreless no-hit innings, striking out five of seven batters faced, and allowing just one walk.
Duluth 8, La Crosse 0
The Duluth Huskies dominated from start to finish to sweep La Crosse Loggers 8-0 In Divisional Playoffs. Reagan Reeder (University of Evansville) went 1-for-2 with a triple, driving in two runs, scoring once, and stealing two bases. George Mclntyre (Iowa Central CC) went 1-for-3 with a double, recording one RBI, one run scored, and one stolen base. Tyler Palmer (University of Nebraska Omaha) went 1-for-3, scoring once with two stolen bases. Sean Waits (McLennan CC) earned the win, throwing nine scoreless innings with six strikeouts, allowing three hits and one walk.
St. Cloud 4, Mankato 0
The St. Cloud Rox jumped out and silenced the Mankato MoonDogs 4-0 to force the if-necessary game. Alex Dupuy (University of Alabama-Birmingham) went 1-for-3 with one RBI. Augusto Mungarrieta (University of Kansas) went 1-for-2 with one RBI. Joshua Dykhoff (University of Kansas) went 1-for-4 with a triple and scored once. Nico Libed (University of San Diego) went 2-for-4 and recorded a stolen base. Hunter Day (Minnesota State University) earned the win, throwing seven scoreless innings with seven strikeouts, allowing four hits and one walk. Ben Smith (Houston Christian University) got the save, throwing two scoreless innings with two strikeouts, allowing one hit and one walk.
Traverse City 5, Kalamazoo 0
The Traverse City Pit Spitters ended the Kalamazoo Growlers’ season, dethroning the reigning Northwoods League Champions, with a 5-0 shutout. Hunter Herndon (Wofford College) went 2-for-4 with two RBIs. Cole Prout (Central Michigan University) went 1-for-3 with a triple and scored once. Cade Collins (Wofford College) went 1-for-3, scoring once with one RBI. Adam Broski (Michigan State University) went 1-for-3, scoring twice and tallying one stolen base. Jayce Lee (University of Notre Dame) went 2-for-3, recording a triple. Ciaran Caughey (Kent State University) earned the win, throwing seven scoreless innings with nine strikeouts, allowing three walks and one hit.
