Thursday night across the Northwoods League featured explosive offenses, dramatic late-inning rallies, and several series sweeps, highlighted by the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders scoring 16 runs, the Waterloo Bucks erupting for 15 runs, and the Bismarck Larks plating 10 runs in the seventh inning of a 12–0 rout. The Royal Oak Leprechauns, Kalamazoo Growlers, La Crosse Loggers, Wausau Woodchucks, and St. Cloud Rox all completed sweeps.

Royal Oak 8, Kenosha 7

The Leprechauns walked it off in the ninth inning to edge the Kingfish 8–7 in a back-and-forth battle and complete the sweep. Luke Kosko (University of Cincinnati) delivered the game-winning hit with a two-run double, going 2-for-4 with four RBIs and a stolen base. Lucas Mead (Saginaw Valley State University) went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBIs, while Nolan Alvord (Grand Valley State University) went 1-for-3 with a double, one RBI, and one run scored. For Kenosha, Luke Landrus (University of Illinois) went 2-for-4, including a triple, recording one RBI, two runs scored, and a stolen base. CJ Deckinga (Michigan State University) went 1-for-5 with two RBIs. Caleb Raymond  (University of Michigan) earned the win with a perfect inning to close out the game. Andrew Everson (Michigan State University) also turned in a dominant outing, throwing 1.1 perfect innings while striking out two of the four batters he faced.

Richmond 9, Battle Creek 5

The Flying Mummies jumped out early and never looked back, defeating the Battle Jacks 9–5 behind a 14-hit offensive performance. Landen Fry (Indiana University) went 2-for-4, including a two-run double, finishing with three RBIs and two runs scored. Jimmy Chadwell (Columbia University) went 3-for-5 with three RBIs and one run scored. Jackson Thomas (Georgetown University) was perfect at the plate, going 2-for-2 with two runs scored and one RBI. Peyton Bittle (McKendree University) went 3-for-5, scoring twice, recording one RBI, and two stolen bases, while Prince Deboskie (University of Akron) went 1-for-4, scoring twice and collecting three stolen bases. For Battle Creek, Hunter Morgan (Dodge City CC) went 1-for-4 with a solo home run. Thomas Cooper (Valparaiso University (IN)) went 2-for-3, scoring twice and swiping two bags, while AJ Lucas (Moberly Area CC) went 3-for-4 with one run scored and one RBI. Nick Julian (Central Christian College) earned the win, throwing four innings with four strikeouts while allowing six hits, three runs, and three walks.

Kalamazoo 8, Lakeshore 3

The Growlers used a five-run stretch across the fifth and sixth innings to pull away from the Chinooks for an 8–3 victory to complete the sweep. Kalamazoo matched Lakeshore with seven hits and added two more runs in the eighth inning to seal the win. Phillip Thigpen (Eastern Michigan University) was perfect at the plate, going 1-for-1 with three walks, one run scored, and two RBIs. Mitchell Morton (Xavier University) went 2-for-3, including a double and one RBI, while Connor Walsh (Eastern Michigan University) went 1-for-3, driving in two runs and stealing a base. Nate Webb (Belmont University) went 2-for-5, including a double, scoring twice and stealing one base, and Hutson Chance (University of Tennessee) scored three times. For Lakeshore, Sam Meidenbauer (UW-Platteville) went 1-for-3 with a double, two RBIs, and a stolen base. Kayden Berenz (McHenry County CC) went 2-for-4 with one run scored, one RBI, and a stolen base, while Logan Schill (UW-Oshkosh) went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases. Jeremiah Holder (Villanova University) earned the win, throwing five innings with two strikeouts while allowing seven hits, two earned runs, and two walks. Bryan Carney (Olivet College) picked up the save with two scoreless and hitless innings, striking out two while allowing three walks.

Fond du Lac 16, Madison 8

The Dock Spiders erupted early and never looked back, rolling past the Mallards 16–8. Luke Meyer (Wheeling Jesuit University) was an RBI machine, going 4-for-5 with a grand slam and a pair of doubles, driving in eight RBIs and scoring three runs. Miles Vandenheuvel (Ohio State University) finished 2-for-5 with a two-run home run, recording two RBIs, four runs scored, and one stolen base. Zach Bava (Illinois State University) went 1-for-4 with a double, tallying one RBI, two runs scored, and a stolen base. For Madison, Aiden Arnett (Virginia Tech) went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run, while Jeremy Martinez (Indiana State University) finished 1-for-2 with one RBI. Luke Ulrich (University of San Diego) earned the win after throwing three innings with five strikeouts, allowing one hit, one run, and three walks.

Rockford 4, Traverse City 3

The Rivets scored four unanswered runs over the final three innings to rally past the Pit Spitters 4–3. Caleb Rhodes (Olive-Harvey CC) went 3-for-4 with one run scored and one RBI. Joe Forbes (University of Arizona) went 1-for-4 with a triple, recording one RBI and one run scored. For Traverse City, Alfredo Velazquez (Wayne State University (MI)) went 2-for-4 with one RBI. Aaron Grant (University of Arkansas Pine Bluff) went 3-for-4, including a double and a stolen base, while Wyatt Epple (Davenport University) went 1-for-4, scoring twice and stealing a base. Ammon Shaul (Gateway CC) earned the win, throwing two innings while allowing two hits, one run, and one walk. Ben Buehring (UW-Oshkosh) picked up the save with two scoreless innings, striking out two while allowing two hits.

La Crosse 7, Thunder Bay 4

The Loggers used a four-run eighth inning to pull away from the Border Cats for a 7–4 victory to complete the sweep. Eli Small (Florida Atlantic University) went 1-for-2 with a solo home run and two runs scored. Max Burt (University of Iowa) went 1-for-3 with a solo homer and scored twice, while Tracen Cameron (Florida International University) went 2-for-3, driving in two runs. For Thunder Bay, Lincoln Pack (Pensacola State CC (FL)) went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles, one RBI, and one run scored. Dante Smith (North Dakota State University) went 1-for-4 with a triple and one RBI. Tanner Thomas (University of Louisville) earned the win with 2.1 perfect innings while striking out two batters.

Waterloo 15, Duluth 2

The Bucks erupted for 15 runs over the first four innings and never looked back, defeating the Huskies 15–2 despite being outhit 7–5. Chase Porter (University of Louisville) went 3-for-4, including a double, driving in one run, scoring once, and stealing three bases. Zach Davis (University of Louisville) went 3-for-5, including a double, scoring three times, driving in one run, and stealing two bases. Cole Patterson (American International College) scored four times and stole two bases, while Bubby Dosztan-Campbell (Santa Barbara City CC) went 1-for-2, scoring three times. For Duluth, Sam Haugen (Minnesota State University) went 1-for-3 with a double, recording one RBI and one run scored. Shae Buskohl (University of Dubuque) earned the win, throwing eight innings with five strikeouts while allowing five hits, one earned run, and one walk.

Bismarck 12, Mankato 0

The Larks erupted for 10 runs in the seventh inning to blow the game open and cruise past the MoonDogs, 12–0. Joey Canzoni (Saint Louis University) went 1-for-3 with a bases-clearing double, finishing with three RBIs and two runs scored. Logan Aguilar (Grossmont CC) turned in a 2-for-5 performance with a double, driving in three runs and scoring once. Ricardo Aponte (Indiana University (PA)) went 1-for-5 with a triple, collecting three RBIs and crossing the plate once. Jordan Carter (Faulkner University) finished 1-for-2 with a double, scored twice, and added a stolen base, while Connor Guy (Virginia Tech) went 2-for-4 with one RBI and one run scored. On the mound, AJ Minyard (San Mateo CC) earned the win after tossing five scoreless innings, striking out six while allowing just four hits and two walks.

Wausau 9, Green Bay 5

The Woodchucks used a five-run fourth inning and added late insurance to pull away for a 9–5 victory over the Rockers to complete the sweep. Joey McLaughlin (Arkansas State University) led the Woodchucks offensively, going 3-for-4 with an RBI and two stolen bases. Andrew Ramos (San Jacinto North CC) drove in four runs despite going 1-for-5, while Jake Berkland (Minnesota State University) scored three times, added an RBI, and swiped a base. For Green Bay, Eli Selga (Golden West CC) finished 2-for-4 with two RBIs and one run scored, while Mike Dee (Georgia Tech) went 1-for-2 with a solo home run. On the mound, Brady Wright (Santa Fe CC) earned the win with 2.2 scoreless innings, striking out three while allowing one hit and five walks.

Rochester 2, Eau Claire 1

The Honkers edged the Express 2–1 in a tightly contested pitchers’ duel on Thursday night. Rochester scratched across single runs in the second and sixth innings, while the Express managed their lone run in the sixth. Brady Errecart (University of California) went 1-for-3 with one RBI, while Jackson Glueck (University of New Mexico) finished 2-for-4. For Eau Claire, Hollon Brock (University of Montevallo) went 1-for-2 with one RBI, and CJ Varsho (Winona State University) was perfect at the plate, going 2-for-2. Maclain Roberts (University of Arizona) earned the win, throwing three innings with four strikeouts while allowing three hits, two walks, and one run. Riley Leatherman (University of North Carolina) set the tone with a dominant start, tossing five scoreless innings with six strikeouts while allowing three hits and one walk.

Minot 7, Willmar 4

The Hot Tots rallied late with a five-run surge over the final three innings to defeat the Stingers 7–4. Tyler Arnold (Hawaii Pacific University) went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run, finishing with three RBIs and two runs scored. Micah McCoy (Illinois Central CC) went 2-for-4 with a double, recording two RBIs and one run scored, while Andrew Marquis (Wagner College) finished 2-for-3, including a double, and drove in one run. For Willmar, Brooks Wright (Southeastern Louisiana University) went 1-for-4 with one run scored and two stolen bases, while David Estrada (University of Hawaii) finished 1-for-3 with one RBI and one run scored. Kevin Rahe (University of Wisconsin-Superior) earned the win by tossing three hitless and scoreless innings, striking out one while allowing just one walk.

St. Cloud 6, Badlands 3

The Rox used a five-run stretch across the fourth and fifth innings to pull away for a 6–3 victory over the Big Sticks to complete the sweep. For Badlands, Rhett Winchester (Barton CC) went 1-for-3 with one run scored and two stolen bases. Braylon Mitchell (University of Dayton) finished 1-for-4 with two RBIs, while Chris Fox (University of New Orleans) went 2-for-4 with one run scored and a stolen base. KJ Hart (Northwest Florida State CC) earned the win after tossing 2.2 scoreless innings, allowing one hit and four walks while striking out one.
