The Ignite defeated the Honeybees 10–2, breaking the game open with a four-run third inning and adding four more runs in the fifth. Marley Teasley (University of Washington) was perfect at the plate, going 2-for-2 with a solo home run and an RBI double, finishing with two RBI, two runs scored, and one stolen base. Claire Calmes (University of Wisconsin) went 2-for-4, including a two-run home run and scoring twice. Sydney Spear (University of Wisconsin) went 1-for-2 with a triple, driving in two runs, scoring once, and stealing a base. Mia Buske (South Dakota State University) went 1-for-1 with a double, driving in a run and scoring once in a pinch-hit appearance. For Wausau, Sara Simon (West Liberty University) went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles and an RBI. Zoey Mills (East Florida State CC) earned the win, throwing two scoreless innings with one strikeout while allowing two walks and one hit. Riley Stiles (Lake Forest College) closed it out with two scoreless innings, striking out three while allowing one walk and one hit.
