Honeybees rolled from the opening pitch, scoring nine runs across the first three innings and never looking back in a dominant 10–1 win over the Spitfires. Cayden Thomas (UNC-Pembroke) was perfect at the plate, going 4-for-4 with two runs scored, one RBI, and one stolen base. Olivia Hernandez (Purdue University Northwest) went 1-for-3 with two RBI and a run scored. Clare Rettler (Carthage College) was 3-for-4, scoring twice and driving in a run, while Alex Serbio added a 1-for-2 line with an RBI, a run scored, and a stolen base. For Grand Forks, Taylor Larson (York University (NE)) went 2-for-3 with a double, an RBI, and a stolen base. Parker Rowden (Lafayette College) earned the win, throwing seven strong innings with six strikeouts, allowing six hits, two walks, and just one run.
