The Steam used a pair of key scoring innings and a dominant pitching effort to shut out the Habaneros 4–0 in a shortened game. Jackie Larsen (Bemidji State Unviersity) went 1-for-4, scoring once and stealing two bases to help spark the offense. Reagon Proud (Upper Iowa University) added an RBI, going 1-for-3 at the plate. On the mound, Rachel Mori (UNC-Pembroke) earned the win with a complete-game shutout, throwing seven innings while allowing six hits and three walks with one strikeout.

Madison 10, Wausau 9

The Night Mares erased an early deficit and rallied late before walking it off with a three-run seventh inning to defeat Ignite 10–9 in a wild back-and-forth matchup. Danielle Lucey (University of Wisconsin) went 1-for-2 with a solo home run, scoring three times and stealing a base. Kyra Smith (Colorado State University) went 1-for-4 with a solo home run, finishing with two RBI and two runs scored, while Emma Kavanagh (Virginia Tech) went 2-for-3 with two RBI and a stolen base. Kendra Lewis (Oklahoma State University) added a 1-for-3 effort with two RBI and a run scored. For Wausau, Riley Schwisow (Northwestern State University) went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run, Marley Teasley (University of Washington) went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer, and Mia Johnson (University of Wisconsin-Parkside) finished 2-for-4 with a solo home run. Megan McGinnis (Saint Mary’s University (MN)) went 2-for-4, scoring twice, driving in one run, and stealing a base. On the mound, Andrew Jaskowiak (Colorado State University) earned the win with four scoreless innings of relief, striking out two while allowing just two hits and one walk.
