Eau Claire has the most selections for the July 8 game in Dyersville, IA at the Field of Dreams Movie Site

Rochester, Minn. — The Northwoods League has announced the rosters for the 2026 Northwoods League All-Star Game, which will be played on Wednesday, July 8 at 7:05 p.m. (CST) in Dyersville, IA at the newly constructed ballpark at the Field of Dreams Movie Site.

In the Great Plains Division, the Eau Claire Express have six players on the roster. Eau Claire is led on the mound by Olivier Martel (University of Illinois). He is currently 1-0 with a 0.00 ERA and 21 strikeouts in 13.2 innings. The Express will also feature catcher Hollon Brock (University of Montevallo) among their six selections. Brock is currently hitting .415 with four home runs, four doubles, three steals and 21 RBI in 25 games.

In the Great Lakes Division, the Madison Mallards have four selections and the Kalamazoo Growlers, Kenosha Kingfish, Traverse City Pit Spitters, and Royal Oak Leprechauns each have three selections.

The All-Stars from the Growlers are powered by outfielder Josh Campbell (University of Michigan). Campbell is hitting .293 with three home runs, six doubles, 22 RBI and 26 stolen bases. The Kingfish are led by J.R. Nelson (University of Illinois) hitting .356 with 16 stolen bases and 14 RBI. Madison pitcher Ckyler Tengler (Arkansas State University) is currently third in the league in strikeouts with 39 and is 4-1 with a 2.04 ERA. Oliver Service (Marshall University) of the Royal Oak Leprechauns will be behind the plate for the Lakes team. He is currently hitting .334 with six home runs, four triples, 10 doubles, seven stolen bases and 30 RBI.

Field Managers and staffs for both teams will be decided after the First Half of the season ends on June 29.

This year’s All-Stars were chosen by an AI-Based statistical model built by Northwoods League Chief Information and Experience Officer Scott Witwer with input from a small panel of MLB scouts.
