Madison 6, La Crosse 1

The Night Mares used a strong middle-inning push to take control and defeat the Steam 6–1. After trailing early, Madison scored five unanswered runs across the third through sixth innings and held La Crosse’s offense in check. Hilary Blomberg (University of Wisconsin) went 3-for-4 with a home run, two RBI, and two runs scored. Danielle Lucey (University of Wisconsin) finished 3-for-4 with a double, two RBI, and one run scored. Trinity Kennemer (Metro State University of Denver) was perfect at the plate, going 2-for-2 with a triple, a double, and two runs scored. Ava Carroll (University of Washington) went 1-for-4 with a double, one RBI, and one run scored. Andrea Jaskowiak ( Colorado State University) earned the win, pitching a complete game while allowing four hits, one run, and one walk with eight strikeouts.
