Wausau Ignite used a three-run fourth inning and a dominant pitching performance to shut out the Habaneros, 4-0, collecting eight hits while allowing just three. Riley Schwisow (Northwestern State University) was perfect at the plate, going 2-for-2 with a run scored and a stolen base. Gracie Konkol (University of St. Thomas (MN)) went 1-for-3 with a double, driving in two runs and scoring once. Bree Urban (State College Of Florida) finished 1-for-3 with a double, scored twice, and stole a base. Zoey Mills (East Florida State CC) earned the win with a standout performance in the circle, tossing a complete-game shutout over seven innings. She struck out nine while allowing just three hits and three walks.

Minot 10, Grand Forks 9

The Honeybees erased an eight-run deficit with an explosive eight-run sixth inning to complete a dramatic 10-9 comeback victory over the Spitfires. For Minot, Ellen Trajan (Adelphi University) was perfect at the plate, going 3-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI. Sarah Milner (Minot State University) delivered in a pinch-hit opportunity, going 1-for-1 with an RBI. The Ignite completed the doubleheader sweep over the Habaneros with a thrilling 10-9 victory, overcoming a late deficit with a three-run sixth inning and a walk-off run in the seventh. Mia Johnson (University of Wisconsin-Parkside) had a day to remember, going a perfect 4-for-4 with a hat trick of home runs, driving in seven runs. Claire Calmes (University of Wisconsin) went 1-for-3 with a double, scoring twice and recording one RBI. Sammie Kulak (San Jose State University) finished 1-for-2 with an RBI and a run scored. For Mankato, Olivia Pichardo (University of California) went 2-for-4 with a home run and a triple, driving in four runs. Bella Louvar (Des Moines Area CC) finished 2-for-4 with three runs scored, one RBI, and a stolen base. Allie Moss (Saint Mary’s College) added a 2-for-3 performance with two runs scored, one RBI, and a stolen base.
