Extra-inning drama, dominant pitching, and explosive offenses highlighted the day, as Wausau won a 10-inning pitchers’ duel while Green Bay and Willmar led a slate of high-scoring victories.

Traverse City 7, Kalamazoo 4

Traverse City scored in five different innings to defeat Kalamazoo 7–4. Sean Martinez (Boston College) led the offense with a perfect 3-for-3 performance, including a triple, one RBI, one run scored, and two stolen bases. JT Smith (Wofford College) drove in two runs, while Zach Kucharczyk (Davenport University) added two hits, two runs scored, one RBI, and a double. Cody Freitas (John A. Logan CC) earned the win with 1.1 innings of relief, striking out two.

Green Bay 12, Battle Creek 4

Green Bay erupted for 10 runs over the final five innings to defeat Battle Creek 12–4. Alejandro Covas (Kent State University) went 4-for-5, including a pair of home runs and a double, driving in three runs, scoring three times, and stealing one base. Coleman Lewis (Georgia Tech) went 2-for-3, including a home run, recording two RBI, two runs scored, and three stolen bases. JT Starkus (Cal State Monterey Bay) went 4-for-5, including a double, tallying two RBI and two runs scored. For Battle Creek, Jake Stedman (Southeastern University (FL)) went 2-for-4 with a home run and a double, driving in three runs. Kyle Knoll (University of Montevallo) earned the win, throwing three scoreless innings with two strikeouts while allowing two hits and one walk.

Wisconsin Rapids 5, Lakeshore 1

Wisconsin Rapids rallied from an early deficit, scoring the final five runs of the game to defeat Lakeshore 5–1. David Ketterman (Florence-Darlington CC) went 4-for-4 with two RBI and two stolen bases. Josiah Palomino (Point University) went 1-for-3, scoring once and stealing three bases. Gage Honeyager (Madison CC) earned the win, throwing 6.1 innings with six strikeouts while allowing three hits and one run.

Fond du Lac 4, Madison 2

The Dock Spiders defeated the Mallards 4–2. Fond du Lac scored in three different innings and held Madison to just five hits to secure the victory. Thomas Googins (Princeton University) went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run scored, and two stolen bases. Quincy Mazeke (University of Cincinnati) went 1-for-3, scoring twice and stealing two bases. For Madison, Jonah Weathers (University of Louisville) went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a double while stealing one base. Henry Warta (UT-Dallas) earned the win, throwing 2.2 scoreless innings with four strikeouts while allowing three walks and one hit. Townsend Stevenson (Washington University (MO)) earned the save, throwing 1.1 scoreless, hitless innings while allowing just one walk.

Mankato 9, Bismarck 2

Mankato jumped out early and never looked back, defeating Bismarck 9–2. The MoonDogs scored in four different innings and used an 11-hit offensive attack to secure the victory. Sam Erickson (Lamar University) was perfect at the plate, going 3-for-3 including a home run, driving in four runs, scoring three times, and stealing one base. Jack Mislan (Lafayette College) went 1-for-4 with a home run, driving in three runs. Kaeden Guida (Minnesota State University) earned the win, throwing 6.1 scoreless innings with five strikeouts while allowing five hits and one walk.

Eau Claire 6, Rochester 2

Eau Claire used a big fifth inning to defeat Rochester 6–2. The Express scored in three different innings and held the Honkers to five hits in the victory. Jake Busson (University of Illinois-Chicago) went 1-for-2 with a home run, driving in three runs. Hollon Brock (University of Montevallo) went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run scored. For Rochester, Matt Maize (University of Arizona) went 1-for-4 with a solo home run. Quinten Marsh (Stanford University) earned the win with a monster outing, throwing five innings while collecting 10 strikeouts and allowing five hits, two runs, and two walks.

Wausau 1, Duluth 0 (10 Innings)

Wausau edged Duluth 1–0 in a 10-inning thriller. The Woodchucks broke the scoreless tie in the tenth inning and used dominant pitching to hold the Huskies to just one hit. Gatlin Pitts (Western Kentucky University) went 1-for-4 with one RBI and two stolen bases. Owen Marsolek (University of Illinois), despite the loss, threw five scoreless innings with seven strikeouts, allowing six walks and two hits. Brett Foss (Arkansas State University) earned the win, throwing nine scoreless innings with nine strikeouts while allowing four walks and one hit. Jack Garvey (University of New Orleans) earned the save, throwing one perfect inning to close out the game.

Kenosha 9, Richmond 4

Kenosha used a pair of big innings to defeat Richmond 9–4. The Kingfish scored four runs in both the third and eighth innings while holding off the Flying Mummies. Brenden Stressler (University of Michigan) went 2-for-5, including a double, driving in three runs and scoring once. Ezra Essex (Oklahoma State University) went 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run scored, and two stolen bases. Hunter Snyder (Columbia University) went 3-for-4, scoring twice. For Richmond, Jackson Cliatt (Georgia Southwestern State) went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles, driving in two runs and scoring once. Weston Mazey (West Virginia University) went 2-for-3 with one RBI. Jake Storey (University of Northern Colorado) earned the win, throwing six innings with five strikeouts while allowing four hits, four runs, and two walks.

Rockford 8, Royal Oak 5

Rockford used a strong offensive performance to defeat Royal Oak 8–5. The Rivets collected 15 hits and scored in five different innings to secure the victory. Keith Eusebio (Paradise Valley CC) went 3-for-4, scoring three times and driving in one run. Joey Appino (Carroll University) went 2-for-5 with three RBI. Alex Tabbert (Harper CC) went 3-for-4, including a double, and scored once. For Royal Oak, Jack Dauer (Yale University) went 1-for-2 with a double and scored twice. Luke Kosko (University of Cincinnati) went 1-for-4 with a home run, driving in two runs. Ammon Shaul (GateWay CC) earned the win, throwing four innings with three strikeouts while allowing two hits, two walks, and one run. Jimmy Amptmann (Davenport University) earned the save, throwing one perfect inning with one strikeout to close out the game.

Willmar 16, Waterloo 6

Willmar used a pair of big innings to roll past Waterloo 16–6. The Stingers scored eight runs over the final three innings to pull away for the victory. Paris Pridgen (Austin Peay University) went 3-for-6, including a pair of doubles, driving in three runs and scoring once. David Estrada (University of Hawaii) went 2-for-4 with three RBI. Kyler Proctor (Austin Peay University) went 3-for-4, including a home run, recording three RBI and three runs scored. Keaton Cottam (Austin Peay University) went 1-for-3 with a home run, driving in three runs. Matthew Bernath (Point Loma Nazarene University) went 2-for-3, scoring three times, driving in one run, and stealing one base. Landon Lowe (Bradley University) went 2-for-4, including a double, recording three runs scored, one RBI, and one stolen base. For Waterloo, Zach Davis (University of Louisville) went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one stolen base. Trey Zaffiro (Lafayette College) earned the win, throwing one inning with one strikeout while allowing three hits, two runs, and one walk.

Minnesota 12, Badlands 7

Minnesota jumped out early and never looked back, defeating Badlands 12–7. The Mud Puppies scored eight runs over the first three innings and finished with 15 hits in the victory. Landon Jasper (Kirkwood CC) went 3-for-5, including a home run and a double, driving in four runs and scoring twice. Holden Peacock (Macalester College) went 1-for-5 with one RBI, two runs scored, and three stolen bases. For Badlands, Ryder Hernandez (University of the Incarnate Word) went 1-for-3 with a home run, driving in two runs. Derek Martinez (Arkansas State University) went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a double. Jake Ammann (UNC Charlotte) earned the win, throwing 5.1 innings with four strikeouts while allowing six hits, four runs, and two walks.

St. Cloud 4, Minot 0

St. Cloud used strong pitching and timely offense to shut out Minot 4–0. Owen Estabrook (Columbia University) was perfect at the plate, going 2-for-2 with one RBI. Colton Rother (University of Kansas) went 1-for-3 with one RBI and one run scored. Tyler Phenow (University of Minnesota) earned the win, throwing six scoreless innings with four strikeouts while allowing seven hits.
