Wausau 12, Madison 6
Wausau jumped out early and held off Madison 12–6. The Ignite used a 14-hit offensive attack and scored in six different innings to secure the victory. Riley Schwisow (Northwestern State University) went 2-for-4 with a pair of home runs, driving in four runs and scoring three times. Claire Calmes (University of Wisconsin) went 3-for-5, including a pair of home runs, recording four RBI and two runs scored. Marley Teasley (University of Washington) went 2-for-4, including a home run, driving in two runs and scoring twice. For Madison, Mickayla Tosch (Wichita State University) went 3-for-3, including a grand slam. Brooklynn Danielson (Florida Atlantic University) earned the win, throwing four innings with one strikeout while allowing five hits, four runs, and three walks. Zoey Mills (East Florida State CC) earned the save, throwing three innings with one strikeout while allowing five hits and two runs.
La Crosse 6, Minot 5
La Crosse edged Minot 6–5 in a close battle. The Steam used timely offense and held off the Honeybees late to secure the victory. Makayla Etling (UNC-Pembroke) went 1-for-3 with a home run, driving in three runs. Bridget Chapman (University of Delaware) went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run scored. Preslynn Baker (John Melvin Christian College) earned the win, throwing seven innings with six strikeouts while allowing six hits, five walks, and four earned runs.
Grand Forks 11, Mankato 9
Grand Forks held off Mankato in an offensive battle, defeating the Habaneros 11–9. The Spitfires used a strong start and held on late to secure the victory. Brooklyn Hofer (University of North Dakota) went 3-for-4, including a pair of doubles, driving in four runs. Mattison Kwarta (San Diego State University) went 3-for-3 with two RBI and one run scored. Makenna Alexander (University of North Dakota) went 2-for-4, including a double, scoring twice, driving in one run, and stealing one base. For Mankato, Katy Olive (Miami University (OH)) went 4-for-4, including a triple and a double, recording three RBI, one run scored, and one stolen base. Kylinn Stangle (University of Minnesota) went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles, driving in one run. Marleigh Louvar (University of St. Thomas (MN)) went 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles, recording two runs scored and one RBI. Bella Louvar (Des Moines Area CC) went 2-for-3, including a triple, scoring twice and driving in one run. Sadie Kahl (University of Northern Colorado) earned the win, throwing 1.1 innings with one strikeout while allowing five hits and two runs.
