Mankato 9, Minot 3

Mankato used a pair of big middle innings to defeat Minot 9–3. The Habaneros scored four runs in both the fourth and fifth innings to erase an early deficit and pull away, securing the victory over the Honeybees. Katy Olive (Miami University (OH)) went 1-for-2 with a two-run home run, scoring twice and stealing two bases. Kylinn Stangl (University of Minnesota) went 2-for-3, including a double, driving in one run and scoring twice. Ava Parent (University of Wisconsin) went 1-for-4 with three RBI and one run scored. Valerie VanZant (University of Minnesota-Crookston) went 1-for-2 with one RBI. For Minot, Bridget Chapman (University of Delaware) was perfect at the plate, going 3-for-3, including a triple, recording two runs scored and one RBI. Kylinn Stangl (University of Minnesota) earned the win, throwing four innings with two strikeouts while allowing five hits, two walks, and two earned runs.
