Madison took Game 1 of the Championship Series with a 3–1 victory over the Ignite. The Night Mares erased an early deficit with a three-run third inning and relied on strong pitching to secure the win. Ava Carroll (University of Washington) went 1-for-3 with a double, driving in two runs and scoring once. Danielle Lucey (University of Wisconsin) went 1-for-2 with two walks and one run scored. For Wausau, Mia Johnson (University of Wisconsin-Parkside) went 2-for-3 with one RBI, while Quinn Marnocha (South Dakota State University) doubled and Sydney Spear (Bradley University) contributed a pinch-hit single. Elena Krause (Stanford University) earned the win, throwing 5.2 innings with three strikeouts while allowing four hits, two walks, and one run.
