The Waterloo Bucks have announced right-handed pitcher Derek Lamacchia will return to play for the Bucks in 2012. Lamacchia (pronounced luh-MOCK-e-uh), a junior at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut, is the first player to be named to the Waterloo roster for the team's 18th season.

The La Crosse Loggers have retained a pair of arms from their 2011 club as the tenth-year franchise announced the signings of pitchers Zach Wright (Washington) and Jordan Haseltine (San Francisco) today to their 2012 roster. Wright and Haseltine join returnee Bobby Juan (Minnesota) and catcher Tyler Servais (Princeton) on the list of Logger signees to-date.
