Shaun Copper of the Mankato MoonDogs is the winner of the 2011 Northwoods League All-Star Home Run Derby hosted by the Marshfield Clinic. Cooper, a Utah standout, faced high school rival Kyle Peterson of the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters in the final at Witter Field. The two played their high schoolball in Arizona and often times were teammates on offseason teams.

Eight players from the Northwoods League will square off in the 2011 Marshfield Clinic Northwoods League Home Run Derby on Sunday, July 17th. The Home Run Derby will begin at 4:30 p.m. and is presented by Charter Communications. The participant field will include four players from the North Division and four from the South Division.
