Conyers Shuts Down Honkers
adminAaron Conyers (Sacramento City College) led Brainerd to victory Thursday night against the Rochester Honkers. The 6'0'' lefty from California improved his record to 4-1 on the season in five games started. Conyers threw 7.1 innings and allowed six hits against the Honkers who are now 9-18. The Lunkers improve to 16-9 with the nice performance from Conyers.

Perkins Propels Bucks to Victory
adminCameron Perkins (Purdue) had a nice night at the plate Thursday at Riverfront Stadium in Waterloo. The 6'5'' 1st basemen from Indianapolis was 4-for-5 on the night with three runs scored and two RBIs. Three of Perkins hits went for extra bases as he doubled twice and homered. Perkins is now hitting .313 in 29 games.
