The Duluth Huskies (5-6) get back to winning after beating Willmar Stingers (5-6) in Duluth.

The Huskies had a stong start to the game scoring two runs in the first from Nic Strasser and Logan Browning. Zac Orchard scores a run in the second to bring the Husky lead to three runs. Life for the Stingers in the 4th with a Danny Pardo run. But the Huskies respond in the bottom of the inning with another two runs from Steven Neutzling and Nic Strasser (his second of the night). Danny Padro from the Stingers scored his second run of the night in the 6th inning cutting the score to 5-2. Daniel Gardner and Mitch Reeves both scored in the 7th for the Huskies extending the lead. For his third run of the night, Danny Padro makes it 7-3 after the 8th. The Stingers made a push in the 9th inning and scored three runs from Greg Lambert, Devin Foyle and Brian Moore. But their push was not enough to make a come back as the Huskies win 7-6.

Ryan Tapani made the start for the Huskies tonight. He pitched 6 innings giving up two runs with two strike outs. He was relieved by Quentin Longrie who pitched only one inning giving up one run. Kevin Stocke took over for Longrie. Stocke pitched in the 9th inning but was not able to get any outs and gave up 3 runs. Wade Regas took over and finished the game out giving up no runs. Tapani gets the Win and Regas earns a save as the Huskies win. For the Stingers, Ty Tice took the mound. Tice pitched for 5 innings giving up 4 hits and 5 runs. Max Green took over in the 6th inning as he gave up 2 hits as well as 2 runs. Joe Vranesic pitched in the 8th inning for the Stingers only giving up one hit and had two strike outs.
