Advocate Aurora Health has been a savior for patients and their communities this past year.

Throughout the challenges of the last year, Advocate Aurora Health has been there for us
through it all. As one of the top 12 health care systems in the country, our local Aurora Medical
Center in Kenosha and its network of clinics, urgent care and medical offices adapted quickly
when the pandemic hit. Throughout the ups and downs of the pandemic, Aurora continued to
adapt, implementing long-term, consumer-friendly innovations in digital and virtual care which
are here to stay, enhancing supply chain efficiencies, and rolling out its Safe Care Promise.
Being on the frontline of the long pandemic battle has been challenging for Aurora’s valued
team members. The organization stepped up its team member programs including special
bonus and crisis pay, funded family care resources, comfort care, travel and lodging
reimbursements, a PTO cash out program, and many more support services to help with the
impact of the pandemic on both work and personal lives.

Through everything, Advocate Aurora Health has remained committed to the community. They
have continued to offer quality care while expanding their facilities to meet growing needs,
including opening a new Aurora Health Center in Pleasant Prairie. Their leaders, team members
and Foundation remain deeply involved with local non-profit agencies, sports and education
institutions that make up the community.

While Aurora has pushed to help the community through the pandemic and beyond, the
community has shown an outpouring of support as well. President Lisa Just explains, “Never
before have we felt so appreciated and united with the people, businesses and institutions in
our community than during the darkest days of the pandemic. Generous donations, letters of
appreciation, and gestures of kindness and support sustained us and reinvigorated our
commitment to our mission of helping all people live well.”

For Aurora Advocate Health, the future is bright. The organization is laser-focused on delivering
a smooth program for COVID-19 vaccinations, restoring health for our community. Aurora is
privileged to do their part to end the pandemic that has affected so many. Everyone is excited
to begin the one-year countdown to the opening of their newest medical center in Mount
Pleasant. The new hospital, medical office and conference center will help meet the health and
wellness needs of this growing community and allow Aurora to expand their mission of helping
people live well through Southeast Wisconsin.

We at the Kenosha Kingfish are honored to partner with an organization such as Advocate
Aurora Health that is dedicated to team members, patients and communities. They truly are
real superheroes and we thank them for everything they have offered and sacrificed during
these times.
