MADISON — Kevin Sevigny was the catalyst of a three-run seventh inning Friday that gave the Madison Mallards a 3-1 win over the Alexandria Beetles in a Northwoods League game before 4,005 at Warner Park.

Sevigny, a freshman at Baylor, drove in a run and scored during the rally, which made a winner of college teammate Cody Hall.

Boone and Francois Larmore accounted for the Mallards’ other RBIs.

Madison (12-6) hosts La Crosse tonight at 7.
