The newest addition to the Duck Pond and the Mallards family will be on hand Friday night when the Mallards return home from a four-game road trip, as ten new ?members? of the Mallards organization make their triumphant debut in their new home. Ten baby Mallard Ducks arrived at their new home at the Duck Pond Wednesday and will be on hand for all fans to see when the gates open Friday at 5:45 p.m. for the Mallards game against the Rochester Honkers. The ducks are only a few days old and fans will have the opportunity to see the Mallard Ducks grow over the course of the 2005 season. The ducks will be located behind the third base grandstand in the Meriter Fan Zone.

The new Mallard Ducks make their debut on Friday for Great Dane Summertime St. Patty?s Day at the Duck Pond. The Irish Rock band the Kissers will be on hand to entertain the crowd as part of the Friday Budweiser and Triple M Concert Series. Additionally, the first 750 fans 21 and older will receive Mallard pint glasses courtesy of the Great Dane.

The Mallards (14-6) completed a two-game sweep of La Crosse Tuesday night and hold a two-game lead over second place Rochester. Madison plays tonight and Thursday at Wisconsin before returning home for a weekend series against Rochester. Game time is set for 7:05 p.m. Friday and Saturday night.
