For the fourth game in a row, the Madison Mallards were unable to solve the Rochester Honkers, being swept in a doubleheader Tuesday night after the Honkers took two from the Mallards over the past weekend.

J.J. Hollenbeck and Casey Baron took losses for the Mallards, who fell to 7-9 in the second-half.

Ryan Rogowski provided the majority of the Mallards offense, scoring both Mallard runs including hitting his third home run of the season. Rochester broke a 2-2 tie with a run on a wild pitch to take game one 3-2.

Game two proved no better for the Mallards, as Rochester scored three times in the fourth inning to take the lead from the Ducks, going on to win the game 4-2.

The Mallards return home to take on the Waterloo Bucks in the first game of a four-game home-stand. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. with great seats still available. For tickets visit the Mallards Web site at www.mallardsbaseball.com, or order by phone at 246.4277.
