Improvements are already under way at the “Duck Pond” for the Mallards 2006 season as Warner Park Head Groundskeeper Tom Tierman has been tirelessly working on replacing all the infield turf. (see picture). The infield turf has not been replaced since the Mallards came to town in 2001. The infield portion of the project is nearly completed & this improvement, along with Tierman’s meticulous care & attention, should help make the playing surface at the “Duck Pond” one of the finest in the Northwoods League.
