Sunday, July 16, the Ducks will really be out in full force as the Mallards host Ducks Unlimited for a fun-filled Ducks Unlimited Night as they take on the Rochester Honkers at 6:05 p.m.

The Mallards will be wearing camouflage uniforms (Mallards manager C.J. Thieleke is pictured below wearing one of the uniforms), the first 500 fans 14 and under will receive duck calls and there will be raffles, hosted by local Ducks Unlimited chapters, throughout the night. In addition, entertainment between innings will have a ?Ducks? theme.

Ducks Unlimited is the world?s leader in wetland and waterfowl conservation. As the organization?s Web site states, ?Ducks Unlimited conserves, restores and manages wetlands and associated habitats for North America’s waterfowl. These habitats also benefit other wildlife and people.?

Since its inception in 1937, when the Dustbowl threatened wildlife and especially waterfowl, Ducks Unlimited has conserved over 11.6 million acres of wildlife habitat while spending 2.32 billion dollars. The organization has conserved habitat in all 50 states, every Canadian province, and areas of Mexico, the Caribbean and Latin America.
