“ESPN Madison is once again excited to be partnering with the Mallards,” said Good Karma General Manager Ken Rovak, “Mallards baseball is what summertime in Madison is all about and we love being in the middle of all the action.”
Gabe Neitzel will return for his fourth season as the play-by-play radio announcer for the Mallards. Fans can expect to hear the same excitement and passion for the game of baseball that have come to characterize Neitzel’s broadcasts in prior seasons with the team.
“I am extremely excited to be returning to the Madison Mallards broadcast booth full time for the fourth summer, and my fifth summer overall being part of the broadcasts,” Neitzel said, “I love being at the ballpark everyday, and being part of the organization.”
Also before each game Neitzel will bring fans “Mallards On Deck” which will serve as a pre-game show and will cover a variety of baseball topics around the nation, while also updating fans on the latest Mallards news. Neitzel will do a post-game show after each Mallards game as well.
“General Manager Conor Coloia and Manager Greg Labbe have put together a really good roster, full of talneted players,” Neitzel added, “It’s always fun to call the ‘Duck Pond’ home, with the large crowds and fun events all summer.”
