Mallards Manager Greg Labbe Will Not Return

Madison, WI – August 22, 2012. The Madison Mallards will not renew the contract of Field Manager Greg Labbe. In two seasons with the Mallards, Labbe finished with a 76-63 record and no playoff appearances.

“The Mallards would like to thank Coach Labbe and his family for their commitment to the organization over the past two seasons,” Mallards General Manager Conor Caloia said. “Greg is a good manager and an even better person. We wish him the best of luck in his next career endeavors.”

The Mallards plan to name a new Field Manager within the next week.

The Madison Mallards are part of the 16-team Northwoods League. The Northwoods League has more teams, plays more games, and draws more fans than any other Summer Collegiate Baseball League in North America
