The Madison Mallards of the Northwoods League have announced their schedule for the 2015 season and released the 2015 dates for the ever popular 7-Game Packs.

The 7-Game Pack features all-you-can-eat ballpark food for the most popular games of the summer and more. 7-Game Packs include a free Mallards hat and will continue to feature guaranteed giveaways, a flexible ticket exchange policy, and priority seat selection for 2016.

The Mallards will open their season at home for the first three games on May 26th, 27th, and 28th at Warner Park, aka the “Duck Pond.” The Mallards play 19 home games in May/June, 12 in July, and five in August. This summer’s Mallards schedule features 17 games on FridaySaturday or Sunday. For the first time in the history the Mallards will host six 6:35 pm start times in late May and early June.

The first half of the season will be complete at the end of play on Tuesday, June 30th, with the second half beginning on Wednesday, July 1st. The first and second half division winners from both the North and South Divisions will meet in a best-of-three Divisional Playoff Series on August 10th thru August 12th. The North and South Division Champions will then meet in a best-of-three series for the Summer Collegiate World Series on August 13th thru August 15th.

The Mallards will play a double header at the “Duck Pond” on Monday, July 13th, against the La Crosse Loggers. Game one will start at 11:35 am and game two will start at7:05 pm. These games will be separately ticketed events.

For the third consecutive year, the Mallards will host the Northwoods League Major League Dreams Showcase on August 4th.  This exhibition double header will feature the Top 100 players in the Northwoods League. The players will be voted by and selected by Major League Baseball scouts. Game one is scheduled for 4:05 pm, with game two at 7:35 pm.

The 2015 Northwoods League All-Star Game will return to Witter Field in Wisconsin Rapids on Tuesday, July 21st. The Rafters last hosted the All-Star Game in 2011, which sold out prior to single game tickets going on sale and featured 33 players that went on to play professional baseball. Additional details regarding the 2015 All-Star festivities will be released at a later date.

There are no expansion franchises in the Northwoods League for 2015, therefore divisions will remain the same. The North Division franchises include the Eau Claire Express, Thunder Bay Border Cats, Waterloo Bucks, Mankato MoonDogs, Duluth Huskies, Willmar Stingers, Alexandria Blue Anchors, St. Cloud Rox, and Rochester Honkers. The South Division is comprised of the Madison Mallards, Kenosha Kingfish, Wisconsin Rapids Rafters, Green Bay Bullfrogs, Lakeshore Chinooks, Wisconsin Woodchucks, La Crosse Loggers, Kalamazoo Growlers and the Battle Creek Bombers.

The Mallards will play their inter-divisional games against the Willmar Stingers and Alexandria Blue Anchors.

Single-game tickets for all Mallards home games will go on sale Saturday, April 25th.
