Madison, Wis. – Following Thursday’s postponed contest, the Madison Mallards (8-7) and Lakeshore Chinooks (8-7) on Friday will complete their two-game series in double-header fashion at Warner Park.

Game one is set to begin at 5:00 p.m. and will pick up at the bottom of the second inning with Lakeshore maintaining its 3-0 lead. The second game of the double-header will be seven innings and start 30 minutes after the completion of game one.

Mallards field manager Donnie Scott will send right-handed pitcher Dalton D’Spain (Texas A&M Corpus Christi) to the mound for his third start of the season in game two. The 6-foot-1 native of San Antonio, Tex., is 1-1 with a 2.13 ERA and 11.8 K/9 ratio across 12.2 innings this summer. D’Spain received a losing decision in his most recent outing June 6 against Willmar, striking out five batters and ceding two earned runs over five frames of work.

As a reminder, fans who purchased tickets for Thursday’s game can redeem their tickets at the Mallards ticket office for any game during the 2015 regular season, based on availability. Great Dane Duck Blind tickets from Thursday’s game can be redeemed for 50% off of a future Great Dane Duck Blind purchase during the 2015 regular season, based on availability. The Great Dane Duck Blind and all hospitality areas will open at their regularly scheduled time of 5:30 p.m.
