Babe_RuthMadison, Wis. (August 7) – The Madison Mallards would like to wish good luck to Sauk Prairie’s Babe Ruth club as it prepares to compete in the 16-18 year-old division of the Babe Ruth World Series beginning on Saturday, August 8 in Klamath Falls, Oregon.

Sauk Prairie, champions of The Ohio Valley Regional tournament, will open the national tournament against Southeast this Saturday at 2:30 p.m. They will then play Pacific Southeast at 12:00 p.m. on August 9. Game three for Sauk Prairie will take place on August 10 at 7:30 p.m. against host team Klamath Falls. Sauk Prairie will wrap up pool play on August 11 against Midwest Plains.

Bracket play for the 16-18 year-old division tournament will begin on Thursday, August 13 with teams seeded from the American and National pools. Bracket play will last from August 13 to August 15, with the World Series champion being crowned after a 1:00 p.m. contest on Saturday, August 15.
