Madison, Wis. – The Madison Mallards (2-4, 21-20) are set to take on the Green Bay Bullfrogs (1-5,13-28) tonight at Joannes Stadium. The Mallards are coming off of a thrilling 3-2 win over the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders and will look to stay in the win column tonight.

Last night, Mallards outfielder Zac Taylor (Illinois) continued his offensive tear as he tallied two more hits and scored a run. Taylor has been a pivotal piece of the Mallards lineup as he has tallied nine hits in his last three games and now owns a .360 batting average. Taylor’s success in the Madison two-hole will continue to give the Mallards sluggers chances to knock in runs.

Scheduled to start tonight for the Mallards is righty Nate Brown. Brown, a freshman from the University of Florida, will be making his second start as a Mallard. He went four innings in his first outing and allowed two runs on three hits. After his Florida teammate Tyler Dyson tossed five scoreless innings last night, Brown will look to follow with another quality outing.

Set to oppose Brown is Green Bay hurler Connor Wollersheim. Wollersheim, a lefty, has made six starts this season and owns a 2.27 ERA and a 3-2 record. He has totaled 35 strikeouts and has only issued fifteen free passes. Wollersheim has been effective recently as he has struck out seven and allowed only one run in each of his last two starts.
