Renovated deck will hold 500 people and feature five levels
The Madison Mallards have recently started construction on a renovation to the Great Dane Duck Blind. The newly remodeled Duck Blind will feature five levels and hold up to 500 people. The right-field Fowl Pole will be moved in to about 310 feet from its current position of 350 feet. The addition to the Duck Blind will run directly along the new right-field fence. The Duck Blind will feature a 14-foot high deck and four open air luxury suites. The new deck will be built by Meigs Inc. Building Specialists in Black Earth.
?The addition to the Duck Blind will provide fans with the ideal atmosphere to enjoy Mallards baseball,? Mallards General Manager Vern Stenman said. ?By moving the fence in and expanding the Duck Blind we are adding to the character and excitement of baseball at the Duck Pond.?
Duck Blind tickets include admission to the game and unlimited food and beverages. Tickets are $20 for adults and $14 for children under the age of 12.
The Mallards home opener is Wednesday, June 11th at 7:05 vs. the St. Cloud River Bats. Mallards Season Tickets are currently available at the Mallards office for only $150 per seat. Single game tickets are also available at The Duck Pond at Warner Park.
