Madison WI – April 29, 2009. Down, set, hut-hut! The third annual Green Bay Packers vs. Madison Area Firefighters charity softball game has been scheduled for Saturday, May 30 at 2:05 p.m. at the Duck Pond. Gates will open at 1 p.m.

General admission tickets cost $15 & will go on sale this Saturday, at 9 a.m.! Available this year is a “Family Pack” whereby 2 adults & 3 children can attend for only $40. Tickets can be purchased online at Mallardsbaseball.com or by calling the ticket office at 608.246.4277. Tickets for the Great Dane Duck Blind & suites are unavailable for this event. Proceeds go to the Wisconsin State Fire Fighters Association.

Also reappearing for a third consecutive year is Brat Favre, a delicious grilled brat affixed with bright green relish and yellow nacho cheese (bib not included).

Last year notable Packer participants included Ruvell Martin (WR), Vernand Morency (RB), James Jones (WR), Tramon Williams (CB), Tory Humphrey (TE), and Noah Herron (RB).

Thieleke will detail the team’s 2009 promotions & roster. The event is free & the first 250 fans will receive a t-shirt courtesy of Sports Impressions!

Single-game tickets will go on sale Saturday, May 2 at 9:00 a.m.

The Mallards open its ninth season at the “Duck Pond” against the Rochester Honkers on June 1 at 7:05 p.m.
