Coming off a sweep of the expansion Eau Claire Express, only rain could stop the Mallards Friday night. Their contest against the Alexandria Beetles has been suspended and will be resumed Saturday as part of a doubleheader.

Tomorrow?s doubleheader will begin at 5:05 p.m. and will resume play in the top of the first inning with Alexandria runners on first and third and two outs. Game one will be a full nine inning contest with game two beginning approximately 30 minutes after the end of game one. Game two will be a seven inning contest.

Tickets from tonight?s game can be redeemed for tickets to any other 2005 Mallards home game based on availability. Duck Blind tickets can be exchanged for a two for one discount for any remaining 2005 Mallards home game based on availability as well.
