Saturday, July 22 will be one of the most unique giveaways in Mallards history. The first 1,000 females to enter the ballpark will receive a gemstone courtesy of Goodman’s Jewelers. One of the 1,000 diamonds will be a real Goodman’s diamond, the others will be CZ gemstones. To find out who the lucky winner is Mallards fans will have to bring their gemstone into Goodman’s on State St. Also, on this night the Mallards will feature live music pre and post-game on the Great Dane Duck Blind and a fireworks show following the game.

This summer the Mallards have made some special adjustments to the Fireworks shows at the “Duck Pond!” Fans will be able to look forward to a different Fireworks company showing off their abilities after every Saturday night game (6 different shows plus Rhythm & Booms on July 1 for a total of 7). After the last show on July 29th fans will be able to vote for their favorite show on Mallardsbaseball.com. The company with the most votes will win the contract for every fireworks show the Mallards put on in 2007!

As part of the Mallards 2006 Promotional Schedule Release series fans are able to vote at Mallardsbaseball.com to decide what giveaway the Mallards will have on opening day June 1.
