It?s time again for the sixth installment of the weekly Mallards update. Once again, the Mallards had all of their returning players in action for their respective teams. Be sure to check out the rosters link on our home page to follow the players and their teams. Here are some of the stand out performances this past weekend.

Infielder Dan Melvin started all three games for Maryland over the weekend. He went five for 14 with five runs, two RBI and a walk. In the first game versus third ranked North Carolina, Melvin had three hits and led the Terps to a 15-8 win.

Infielder Mike Rohde had a productive weekend for Illinois. He went four for 10 with two runs scored and an RBI. Illinois won both games this weekend by a score of 13-8 against Northern Iowa and 4-2 over Illinois-Chicago.

Infielder Ryan Bond started at second base in all three games for Indiana State over the weekend. He went a combined six for 12 with two runs and four RBI. Bond helped the Sycamores take two of three from Murray State. Indiana State is now 9-6 this season.

Outfielder Danny Dressman?s nine game hitting streak came to an end on Friday night, although, he is still hitting an impressive .381 this season for Notre Dame. Notre Dame is 9-6 this season.
