The Madison Mallards are excited to announce the team will be featured tonight at 8 p.m. on the “Northwoods Baseball Weekly,” a 30-minute show on ESPNU that will highlight a different NWL franchise each week. The new show will feature unprecedented behind-the-scenes access of what it’s like to be a player, coach, or other personnel with a Northwoods League team. Four individuals, Madison Mallards Field Manager C.J. Thieleke, Mallards outfielder Jordan Comadena, Mallards play-by-play announcer Ben Larson, and Eau Claire Express Assistant Coach Nick Weisheipl will all be featured in tonight’s show. Friday, June 8th – It’s Star Wars Night! The original Chewbacca Peter Mayhew will be on hand to pose for pictures and sign autographs. Come early because the first 500 kids 14 and under will receive a Marcus Theatres Popcorn Megaphone (see picture) to be used for free popcorn during the showing of Star Wars in the outfield after the game!
Saturday, June 9 – Dr. Jay Hazen Dentistry Madison Muskies Turn-back-the-clock and Harley-Davidson Night! The Mallards will wear authentic 1993 Muskies uniforms & the first 1,000 fans will receive free Muskies mesh caps. The first 500 fans in the Duck Blind will also receive a Mallards six-pack cooler (pictured below) courtesy of Capital City Harley-Davidson.
Sunday, June 10 – Play More Catch with Dad Night! The first 1,000 father/child combos will receive a free baseball and the opportunity to play catch in the outfield after the game. The first 500 kids 14 and under will also receive a water bottle courtesy of Prairie Athletic!
