The Mallards have added three new giveaway items to the team’s promotional schedule; Aug. 2, MG&E Mallards Light Switch Cover Night (first 1,000 kids 14 & under), Aug. 3, Interstate Batteries Hat Night (first 1,000 fans), Aug. 11, Alliant Energy Yo-Yo Night (first 1,000 kids).

Information you must know:

Thursday, August, 2, MG&E Mallards Light Switch Cover Night. We are not responsible for parents stealing these covers from their children’s rooms. Please share, and then listen to Madison Sports Radio 100.5 FM so you don’t miss moments like Mitch Saum’s clutch walk-off three run double that downed LaCrosse 10-9 in a 13 hit onslaught.

Friday, August 3, Interstate Batteries Hat Night. These hats can also double as taupe’s. Boardroom meetings across Madison are forever changed the next day when a local CEO wears his hat to the side to emulate Mallard Jordan Comadena, who would finish the game with a career-high seven RBI’s and four stolen bases.

Saturday, August 11, Alliant Energy Yo-Yo Night. Go on, take one. Then visit begin2spin.com to finally say you can “walk the dog.”

Fans, when the Mallards return home for a two-game stint versus the Wisconsin Woodchucks on July 13 and 14th, the team will feature some exciting promotions planned for you!

Vertically Challenged? On Friday, July 13, it’s Short People Appreciation Night! Emmanuel Lewis, best known for his leading role in the 1980’s television sitcom Webster and his short stature (he’s 4’3”), will be making an appearance at the “Duck Pond!” In conjunction with his visit, the Mallards will be offering ticket pricing based on height. The pricing goes as follows:
4’3” and under – tickets are FREE!
4’4” to 5’6” — 4 dollars
5’7” to 6’ — 6 dollars (normal price)
6’ and over — 7 dollars

In addition, all fans in the Great Dane Duck Blind will receive a Mallards t-shirt courtesy of Covance!

Then, on Saturday, July 14, it’s the return of Goodman’s Jeweler’s Diamond Night! The first 1,000 ladies will receive a gemstone and one will be a real diamond! Bring your gemstone back to Goodman’s to find out if you have won the diamond! Stick around after the game for The Gomers playing Neil Diamond cover songs on the Duck Blind and a spectacular fireworks display.

Tickets are going fast for both games and can be purchased by visiting mallardsbaseball.com or by calling 246.4277. Thanks for your support of Mallards baseball!
